In little less three weeks we will know more or maybe even less about what NYS plans to do about the extraction and development of the natural gas resources. Some people are hoping that the whole natural gas story will go away- end- banned to some far off Coventry. Sorry folks, the natural gas is here to stay and it is an extremely valuable asset. It cannot be ignored. In a matter of months it will be "in our backyards."
Dr. Scott Cline in a recent article “Move forward with N.Y. shale gas wells” lays it out. The technology exists, and the knowhow exists. Public health can be protected. There are so many things that we could have been working on instead we argued and monologued.
