Finding Common Ground

The issue as to whether a community should take a look at natural gas production is not as black and white as some groups would have us think.  There is a middle ground or a common ground. We need to find it before we divide our community beyond repair.

There are so many parts to this quandary- however as with any new development or change to a community there is always the fear of what the changes might bring. Concerns are legitimate but must be addressed and solutions found.
Cornell is hosting an energy conferenceGas Drilling, Sustainability & Energy Policy: Searching for Common Ground” that will discuss the possibility of a common ground. If you are truly interested in understanding how community problems can be resolved and not driving the wedge deeper this might be the conference for you.
